Please HP, update this app to make it work the way it's advertised to. Judging by the number of 1-star reviews of this app, I'm far from alone. It supposedly has a function to do duplex scanning which I want to be able to use, and was a feature availabe on HP Deskjet printers in years past.

I've encountered this on Mac OS Catalina and now Monterey (OS's 11 and 12). Despite being able to connect wirelessly to my LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw, and print and do single side scans from HP Smart on my iPhone and my Mac, HP Easy Smart cannot find my printer, even after all of the reset and driver uninstall/reinstall directions provided.
